Job Description:
Our client is one of the leading regional banks, seeking a Senior Manager, Investment Operations to lead and enhance post-trade operations. This strategic role is instrumental in managing the full investment operations lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence, driving process transformation, and strengthening control frameworks across asset classes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire investment operations lifecycle: trade capture, confirmation, settlements, reconciliations, cash & collateral management, and corporate actions
- Serve as the key point of contact for internal teams, custodians, and service providers across all operational processes
- Identify and lead transformation initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance controls, and improve data quality
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
- Support system enhancements, automation, and integration across platforms
- Collaborate with front office, compliance, risk, and technology teams to ensure operational alignment
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing operations team.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in investment operations, with a clear track record of senior-level ownership
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle across asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives, etc.)
- Proven experience in leading transformation or process improvement programs
- Familiarity with middle office functions, settlement platforms, and corporate actions workflows
- Experience managing external vendors, custodians, and fund administrators
- Comfortable operating in a complex, regulated environment with multiple stakeholders
- Systems knowledge: Bloomberg, Charles River, SimCorp, Eagle, or similar
- Bachelor’s degree required; professional designations (e.g. CFA, CIPM, CAIA) are an advantage
