Job Description:
A government entity in Qatar is seeking a Qatari National with 2+ years of experience to join its Internal Audit function as an IT Auditor – Cyber & Data Governance. This role is suitable for professionals with experience in IT audit, cybersecurity, or technology risk looking to develop their careers in a regulated public-sector environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support IT and cybersecurity audits, including access controls and security reviews
- Assist with data governance and data privacy assessments
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and remediation follow-ups
- Review IT controls against ISO 27001 / NIST frameworks
- Prepare audit documentation and support audit reporting
Key Requirements:
- Qatari National (mandatory)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in IT audit, cybersecurity, technology risk, or similar roles
- Good understanding of IT controls and cybersecurity concepts
- Fluent in Arabic and English
