Job Description:
Madison Pearl is working closely with a leading global alternative investor headquartered in the GCC. They are looking to hire a senior risk professional with around 10 – 12 years’ experience gained working within an alternative investment environment. The right candidate would have the ability to lead risk management efforts across investment, operational and capital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead risk management for the institution across financial risk, operational risk and capital risk.
- Lead risk oversight across financial services, products, funds, capital and liquidity management, business continuity planning, regulatory risk and compliance.
- Risk Reporting for ICAAP and preparing risk dashboards for governance bodies, including the board risk committee and fiduciary committee.
- Oversee the consolidation and recommend the departmental budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget.
- Supervise third-party/vendor risk management and cyber resilience assessments.
Key Requirements:
- 10 – 12 years’ experience within a buy side institution across financial and non-financial risk.
- In depth experience to private markets investment management.
- A deep familiarity to a regulatory environment such as DIFC or ADGM.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in financial, Economics, Risk or related field.
- CFA or FRM are highly advantageous.
